ABOUT THE ARTIST

For as long as I can remember, my imagination has always been filled with images that are abstract, vivid, and full of movement. Capturing these elements in my art has always been my passion. Nature has always been my greatest teacher. The "organized chaos" contained in nature is what fires my imagination. 

Although I enjoy many different artistic mediums, my first love has always been acrylics. A significant portion of my portfolio is dedicated to this medium. I am also an avid "doodler" and it is rare to find me without a pen and sketchpad in hand. This has resulted in a vast collection of unique sketches as well.

For me, art is a deeply personal experience. When someone sees my work and asks, "What is it?", my response is always, "It's that". Art need not be explained, it just is. My art is, first and foremost, a form of self-expression. As with all forms of self-expression, having people appreciate your expressions is a gift that is deeply gratifying.

This website represents a small fraction of my complete body of work, which is constantly expanding. Most pieces are available for purchase. If you find a piece you love, or are drawn to a particular style and would like to see more, it is likely I have similar pieces available.
